The spectroscopic abundances and kinematics of a sample of faint B stars far from the galactic plane and appearing at the low spectroscopic dispersions to be Population I stars, were analyzed to determine their nature and origin. Out of 49 stars: 26 are identified as Population I stars that have been ejected from the galactic disk, 18 are evolved sub dwarfs, and 5 remain unclassified. There are no stars in the sample that appear to be Population I stars which formed in situ in the galactic halo.
This is a color reproduction of the mini-poster sheet I gave out at the meeting. Color copies of idividual figures are at the bottom of this page.
